Anhui Agricultural University (AHAU), a prestigious university located in Hefei, the capital city of Anhui Province, grows out of National Anhui University established in 1928. She became an independent college in 1954 and in 1996 was renamed as Anhui Agricultural University under the approval of China Ministry of Education. AHAU covers an area of 210 hectares with a total building space of 750,000 square meters, and her garden-like campus is set amidst the picturesque scenery of green trees and beautiful flowers with a peaceful and tranquil layout.

     In the new century, all the faculty and staff members will keep pace with the progress of time, seek for the truth, push forward the reforms and accelerate the development, so as to grow AAU into a comprehensive university of advanced standard in China.
