News from our web site The 3rd natural science annual forum of Anhui province --symposium on agricultural industrialization and information-oriented agriculture, sponsored by Anhui Electronics Committee, AAU and assisted by Hefei Institute of Intellectual Machines, Chinese Academy of Sciences, Anhui Academy of Agriculture Science, was successfully held in the Lecture Hall of School of Forestry on the morning of November 25th. The topic for this year is “Information technology and issues concerning agriculture, countryside and farmers”, namely, exchanging and discussing policies, strategies, basic theories, applied technologies and engineering for demonstration and generalization, etc.
Our president, Prof. Li Zengzhi gave a speech, extending the warmest welcome to each expert and briefly introducing university development in the past several years. Vice chairman of Anhui Science Association, Mr. Cheng Rongchao, Vice President of Information Production Department of Anhui Province, Shen Yi and Vice Director of Anhui Agriculture Committee also make a statement respectively. Besides, the researcher of China Academy of Science, vice president of Nanjing Agriculture University, Prof. Cao Weixing, dean of Modern Agriculture Science and Engineer Academy, Tongji University, Prof, Xu Lihong, and many experts from all walks of life are also invited to give some lectures.
